Nieuwkoopse Plassen II
A 5-minute recording of yesterday's boat-trip back from my Spot-in-the-Sun to my little harbour.
Shot with my HTC/Vodafone G1 Mobile, recorded the streaming video via uStream server.
Not the best quality, but still... Amazing technology!

Bus Slogan generator

Always wanted to have your own advertisement on a british bus? Here's your chance!
I found this bus slogan generator on the web. It's not new, but nice...
...and easy to use... just type in your text and click 'generate'
After that you can simply download the end-result to your computer.
Enjoy!

Twitter presents Embeddable Tweets
As of now, Twitter is giving you the option to embed your Tweets.
It is made possible by web-application Blackbird Pie and works very easy;
Just copy the link to the tweet in the bar and 'bake' it into a HTML script that u can use on your blogposts etc.
One of the biggest advantages IMO of this is that the links stay clickable, and it looks stylish.

PatchPierre - Connecting Chaos Site Online
Last friday i launched my new blog-project called PatchPierre - Connecting Chaos
PatchPierre is my latest project, a site dedicated to everything around my Doepfer A-100 Analogue Modular Synthesizer.
My plan is to post (basic) A100 -tips, -patches and sound-examples here, for those of you interested.
I am still learning more about analogue synthesis every day, and i thought it would be a good idea to share my 'adventures in analog synthesis' with others...
( and also as a reminder or sketch-book for myself )
Find it at http://PatchPierre.blogspot.com
Enjoy the blog, just follow the feed and feel free to comment anytime !

The Groove Express Episode 012
For those of you who missed last thursday's final episode of 'The Groove Express' on OldSchoolFM , you can find it here.
I would like to thank all our loyal listeners for their support, thanks for the feedback, on twitter or in the chat and all your re-tweets.
It was great fun producing and co-presenting this show, many thanks to JanPolet again for his trust in me and for the opportunity to broadcast this show on his OldSchoolFM
As we said in the show, this was our last weekly episode. We don't know if and in what shape or form The Groove Express will return yet, but we'll keep you updated.
Until next time, enjoy our last episode!
Update 16/04:
Bad news for the fans; The Groove Express is derailed... :(
No more episodes in the future.
Twisted Grooves will return in some way, but not very soon.
I'll keep you all updated

Selected works IV: Red Brush 1
Dated 1998 (?):

Red Brush 1 / Recycled brush on wood by NetPierre ca.1998
I like to recycle old materials for my projects.
For example, brushes i used at work are never thrown away and i keep them all in a big bucket for re-use.
This brush was the first in a series of brushes, all standing on a wooden base and finished with an acrylic paint. Until now i made 4 of these, in different shapes and colors, and i am still planning to work on new ones.
The background painting (40x50cm, acrylic paint on canvas) is one of my many backgrounds that i use for making photos or as a background for portraits and cat paintings

Selected works III: Cat Painting I

The cats in this painting were my first two cats (twins), the one on top sadly passed away in 2006.
This painting was made as a tribute and based on a picture that i took a few years earlier when i found them both on top of each-other in the laundry-basket.
